I grew up in an adoring, supportive, and close family in a small rural town in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. I lived on a farm with ponds, a garden, orchards, and many animals. My love of children started at a young age. I was the neighborhood
babysitter from age 13 until I left for college. I later worked as a nanny as well as a medical assistant while attending Nursing school.
I graduated with my BSN from SFSU and worked at Mills-Peninsula Hospital and then Sutter, as a Nurse in Labor and Delivery and Mom/Baby (postpartum). But after 6 years, it turned out caring for children was more my calling which lead me to the development of Baby Steps.
My California RN license is active and I am certified in Pediatric/Infant CPR and First Aid.
I have two children, Jaydon, age 20, and Nina, age 16. I also have a very sweet bunny, Benjamin.
